As the boys were eating cheerios this morning, I was reminded of how when Nate was the age Jame is now he used to purposefully press on the cheerios with his index finger and make them go flying across the room like tiddlywinks. Thankfully James appears to have avoided learning that trick by virtue of the ferocity with which he attacks his food. Cheerios still get everywhere, but in more of a cookie monster crumble kind of way.

I have officially started a Word document that I add your little anecdotes to. When I get to 365, I'll let you know! :) Ha ha!
Oh...and fyi...I'm at 49 stories!
You've actually got me thinking of making a book now, not to sell, but just for personal record. I think you can self publish fairly cheap. If I mixed it in with photos, it'd be like a modern version of those baby memory books.
That would be an awesome idea! I think this could be added as an "Epp Friend Story":
Brian taught Vincent to put his cup in the cup holder on his high chair when he's "done"...intending it to be only for his beverage. Well Vincent being Vincent has now interpreted this as all things "done" go in the cup holder, including any and all food he's not interested in, assuming he won't be in trouble for not finishing it and may get something better in exchange. When he learned that is not necessarily the case, he made his food go "all gone" by hiding it in his lap and then sweetly pointed at the pantry for something else. Brian...you're on my list.
Just out of curiosity, does your Word document go all the way back to the buzz posts?
Friday Fun Fact: my first post about Nate was on Twitter, when Nate was 4 months old:
Jonathan is wondering what the proper response is when your son gives your wife a hickey. Is it time for "the talk"?
That's really good, you should start writing some stories. It'd be awesome to hear more updates on Vincent. Also, we actually purposefully taught Nate to use the cup holder for his "all done" food. We had been battling him throwing food on the floor for what seemed like ages, with no noticeable effect, but giving him a way to signal he didn't want to eat the food worked.
All the buzz posts I could find are in the document...although none of the Twitter ones I'm guessing. Do you have a date for that Twitter post? (yes...I'm organizing them by date) As for Vincent and his cup holder spot...that's a good point...although he's never thrown food on the floor...up until now he'd pick up his plate/bowl and hold it out to us and say "Done" (prior to saying "done" he would put his hands up in an "all done" sign)...if this wasn't already in his repertoire I think the cupholder solution would be a good one!
