James was complaining that there was something in his mitts. I asked him what it was. He said "summer things". I told him to shake it out. He did. Next time I'll seek more clarification.
There are some days where it's more clear than others that I'm the father of three boys. This was the middle-born's handy work (the picture doesn't really give you a feel for how wet the mud was). He was quite pleased with his 3-year old self. At least it's a sign of spring?
Nate shared what he learned in preschool with us at the dinner table today. Apparently the girl from Korea taught him how to say "butt" in Korean. I guess some interests are universal...
Overheard at the Costco cafeteria from a mom trying to fill up her child's sippy cup from the soda fountains, "I can't believe they don't have any juice, not even Fruitopia..."
Nate, "James, do you cheer for me?" James, "Yeah." Nate, "Is it because I win so many games?" James, "Yeah." Nate, "That's because God gave me wisdom." (but not humility...)
